You are at greater risk if your home is:
- located near a major thorough fare – easy access in and out.

- bordering on a wooded area or playground – these areas are not viewable by neighbours, while woods provide concealed access.
- A high value house located in a good neighbourhood – the more expensive the house, the more expensive items it is expected to contain.
Don't invite the burglar into your home. Remove temptation. Make it look as though your house is occupied.
